Postiz Integration for Reels Farm Publishing

Reels Farm connects to Postiz Cloud with your API key. It imports active TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook channels, then supports publish-now and scheduled workflows. Reels Farm can cancel a scheduled post, but it cannot edit that Postiz post after submission.

The Postiz integration connects the publishing workspace you already use to content created in Reels Farm. It is for Postiz Cloud accounts with API access. Reels Farm does not connect to a self-hosted Postiz server through this integration.

Quick Answer

Use the Postiz integration when you want to:

  1. connect your Postiz Cloud account with your own API key
  2. import active TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook channels
  3. publish now or schedule a finished post through a connected channel
  4. cancel a scheduled Postiz post from Reels Farm if plans change

Reels Farm does not update the caption or scheduled time of an existing Postiz post.

What Reels Farm Connects

The Postiz API can expose channels beyond the networks Reels Farm currently publishes to. Reels Farm imports active channels only when their platform is TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook. Disabled channels and other platform types do not appear as Reels Farm destinations.

The imported destinations belong to the Postiz account behind your API key. Reels Farm does not create or bundle Postiz accounts for you. If a channel does not appear, check that it is active in Postiz and that the API key belongs to the workspace that owns it.

Publish Now, Schedule, or Cancel

Postiz-connected accounts support publish-now and scheduled posts in Reels Farm. A scheduled post can be canceled from the Reels Farm calendar. Reels Farm does not expose post-update actions for Postiz, so edit the post in Postiz if you need to change its caption or timing.

This is the key difference from Post Bridge, which supports caption and schedule-time updates through its integration path. Buffer, Publer, and Sprout Social do not expose the same cancellation controls in Reels Farm.

Platform Settings That Need Attention

TikTok direct publishing needs a privacy choice. Video posts also need an AI-content disclosure choice. You can send a TikTok post to the app inbox for manual publishing instead of publishing it directly.

YouTube integration posts must be videos. Reels Farm requires a title and a made-for-kids selection before sending the post. These checks apply to the Reels Farm publishing flow; other platform settings remain in Postiz.

Common Setup Problems

Expecting every Postiz channel to appear

Reels Farm currently supports four platform families in this integration: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Other Postiz channel types are not imported.

Expecting scheduled posts to remain editable in Reels Farm

Reels Farm can cancel a scheduled Postiz post, but it cannot change its caption or scheduled time after submission. Make edits in Postiz.

Using a self-hosted Postiz URL

The Reels Farm connection uses the Postiz Cloud API. It does not accept a custom self-hosted API endpoint.

FAQ

Does Reels Farm need my Postiz API key?

Can I publish immediately and schedule through Postiz?

Yes. Reels Farm supports both modes for supported Postiz-connected accounts.

Can I cancel a scheduled Postiz post?

Yes. Reels Farm can cancel scheduled Postiz posts. It cannot update their caption or scheduled time.

Which Postiz channels can I use in Reels Farm?

Reels Farm currently imports active TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook channels. The channels must also be available to the Postiz API key you connect.

Final Take

Postiz is a good fit when your team already routes social publishing through Postiz Cloud and wants Reels Farm to hand off finished short-form content. Connect the workspace with the right active channels, choose the platform settings before submission, and use Postiz for edits after a post has been queued.
