How to Connect Claude Code to ReelsFarm MCP

Claude Code is where you write and ship code. ReelsFarm MCP adds social media content creation and publishing to that environment. Generate UGC, create slideshows, schedule posts, and manage accounts without leaving the terminal. Here is how to connect them.
Claude Code connects to MCP servers through a JSON config file.
Add ReelsFarm, restart Claude Code, and your agent can generate and publish social media content.
Step 1: Get an API Key
Sign up at reelsfarm.com. You need an active paid plan. MCP server access and Agent SDK are included on all plans.
Go to your account settings. Open the MCP tab. Create an API key. Copy it. You will not be able to see it again, so store it somewhere safe.
Step 2: Add ReelsFarm to Your MCP Config
Claude Code looks for MCP servers in `.claude/mcp.json` in your project or home directory.
Add the ReelsFarm MCP server configuration with your API key. The server runs over HTTP so Claude Code can reach it without local processes.
Step 3: Restart Claude Code
Close and reopen Claude Code, or run the MCP reload command. Claude Code discovers the ReelsFarm tools on startup through the MCP protocol.
You will see ReelsFarm MCP connected in the startup output.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
Ask Claude Code to list your connected social accounts.
The agent calls the account listing tool through ReelsFarm MCP. You should see your connected TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook accounts. This confirms the connection works.
Step 5: Generate and Publish
Now ask Claude Code to create something.
Describe the content you want. A TikTok slideshow for a product launch. An AI avatar in a specific style. A UGC-style product scene. The agent uses ReelsFarm tools to generate drafts.
Every destructive action uses prepare-then-confirm. The agent shows you a draft. You review it. You approve. It publishes or schedules.
Nothing goes live without your confirmation.

Troubleshooting
If the connection fails, check that your API key is valid and not revoked. Verify your paid plan is active. Confirm your Claude Code version supports MCP servers over HTTP.
The ReelsFarm MCP server runs at mcp.reelsfarm.com. Claude Code needs outbound access to that endpoint.
